A very large part of the population drive upscale vehicles and they
don’t mind paying a premium price for premium oil. For these people,
price is no object. Then there are the customers who merely want their
vehicles to last for many, many years and they understand that a premium
oil will help them realize this goal. These customers are interested in
quality for their vehicles. Customers who really put the pencil to the
paper can also readily identify that even paying a premium price for
Amsoil, still comes out cheaper than buying inferior oil because the
savings is realized in changing their oil only once a year and not being
plagued by mechanical breakdowns.
A retail establishment is a typical store where one can purchase most
everyday items. Hardware stores and automotive parts stores are examples
of retail establishments in which consumers find motor oils and other
automotive products. AMSOIL Dealers can register these stores as retail
on-the-shelf accounts. Retail establishments that qualify for this
program receive product at competitive retailers’ prices so they can
stock them and sell them at a profit.

accounts at the same price, so the largest discount retailers buy at the
